The majority of games are heteronormative and may be difficult to play as a gay player. However, several games provide explicit representations of queer identities and desires.
These games allow you to choose between masculine or feminine pronouns. You can also romance characters from either gender. You can play a few LGBTQ inclusive games on Steam.

Created by The Fullbright Company, Gone Home is a first-person exploration game that tells a compelling story through the mundane details of an empty house. Katie, the player’s character, returns home to an empty house. She finds clues to her sister’s life as she explores the home: riot-grrl mixtapes on VHS, The X-Files, a smear on the bathtub of red hair dye, and a pentagram made of chalk in a hidden area.
The game allows you to take your time and enjoy the house. You won’t be rushed or frustrated by puzzles or combat. The storyline is emotional and evocative. Characters feel like they belong in the world where they are.
Gone Home, despite not being as innovative as Dear Esther or Proteus’ storytelling style, is a worthy addition in the canon first-person art game. This is a great example of ludonarrative unity and portrays teenage angst and family drama with a strong mental illness. The story is one that players will remember long after the credits roll.

Open-world game with a huge backstory, and many characters to meet. The storyline and lore of this game is heavily based on the two previous Dragon Age games. Those who are unfamiliar with them may find it difficult to follow.
Inquisition has an epic scope, but it also has a sense of intimacy and a feeling that you can truly make your mark on the world around you. The character relationships are strong and well-realised, whether they’re squabbling with each other across verdant meadows or bickering in dim caverns, and hearing Varric and Cole bicker is one of the game’s pleasures.
Inquisition has a few flaws, like the villain, which BioWare corrected with post-launch content, and the combat, which feels designed for a smaller game. But overall, it is the perfect RPG.

From the makers of Bastion and Transistor, Pyre offers a new take on the fantasy genre. The game is set in the purgatorial fantasy realm of the Downside, which contains tree people, foxlike creatures and worms. Characters that join your party, like Rukey the loud “cur” and Ti’zo the drive-imp that only communicates with sound, help make it feel a lot less one-dimensional.
The Rites are the core game features. It’s a quasi religious tournament where your 3 person team competes against another. The time required to achieve freedom gets shorter each time you win a Rites. You’ll often have to choose between focusing on improving your team or pushing yourself in battle. The choices you make add up to make each victory more meaningful.
The visual design of the game is stunning, with elements of fantasy and pioneer. Supergiant Games also has a strong soundtrack, with Darren Korb dipping across a range of genres in order to represent each team. The Downsiders, for example, have an old time jazz theme while the Nightwings, a thrasher melody. Pyre is a fascinating new twist on fantasy gameplay and storytelling.

Hades has an engaging, snappy game play, a lovely score and charming characters. The random nature of the roguelike genre does mean that the kind of climactic moments that define traditional stories are hard to come by, but the game still delivers in its own way.
The character designs are layered with depth. Jen Zee, the art director (Bastion Transistor Pyre), has given each god and goddess a distinct style which makes them standout from one another. Hades is intimidating and regal, while Nyx & Megaera are distant and aloof. Cerberus the three-headed dog is another character that’s hard to categorize.
X or PS5. Hades is a roguelike that sets a new bar for the genre with its beautiful visuals and engaging storyline. Developed by Supergiant Games, this is a must-play for any roguelike fan. This release is also 4K compatible, adding an extra layer of clarity and detail to the action.

AMC wanted to expand its offerings after a string critically acclaimed dramas such as Mad Men and Breaking Bad. It found it with The Walking Dead. The show portrays the life of survivors in the months and even years after a zombie outbreak. Sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, is the leader of an elite group of survivors. He is joined by the likes of the horrifying Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), resourceful Glenn Erickson(Steven Yeun), and the fierce Michonne(DanaiGurira).
The Walking Dead features plenty of munching-on-entrails and stabbing-that-shambler-in-the-eye-socket violence, and its characters grapple with the nature of humanity. The Walking Dead has moments of romance and dark humor. The sexualized language is limited, but the gore and violence are not.
